About me

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I’m Becca and I am a seasoned immigration attorney. My work is deeply personal: my grandparents and great-grandparents came to the United States from Italy and Poland seeking brighter futures. Their stories taught me the value of finding safety and opportunity in a new home.

Today, I strive to provide clear, compassionate legal guidance for every client. I will fight for you to have the same stability and security my ancestors sought. My mission is simple: to help you confidently build your own bright futures in the United States.

Government Experience

After law school, I completed the Department of Justice Attorney General's Honors Program and worked as an Attorney Advisor at the York and Baltimore Immigration Courts. I acted as front-line counsel to Immigration Judges, providing analysis and guidance on complex legal issues and drafting judicial opinions on behalf of the judges. This gave me a rare look at how judges think and what they need to see in order to approve a case.

I have experience with all types of removal cases, including: asylum, withholding of removal, Convention Against Torture, bond proceedings, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, humanitarian relief, and various types of immigration waivers. At court, I focused on detained cases at the intersection of criminal and immigration law, including complex issues such as crimes involving moral turpitude, aggravated felonies, and contested removability.

I also worked at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), within the Office of Chief Counsel, where I helped establish the Visa Petition Appeals Division and worked on Visa Petition Appeals.

My time working for the government is my greatest strength as your lawyer. I know how the government reviews cases from the inside. I understand what the Immigration Judges are looking for. I can use this knowledge to make your case as strong and clear as it can be. My goal is to use my unique experience to guide you through your immigration processes and toward a successful result.

law school

Becca attended Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude in 2020. While in law school, Becca served as the Executive Notes Editor of the Drexel Law Review and published her note: Protecting the Least Among Us: Using the Flores Agreement as a Model for an Alternative to Detention for the Mentally Ill in ICE Custody. She founded the Immigration Law Society and created and organized the Border Rights Project, through which she raised funds to send law students to the United States/Mexico border to provide pro bono legal services for migrants seeking entry. She won the Faculty Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Student for her work on the Border Rights Project.

Becca worked as a student attorney in the Federal Litigation and Appeals Clinic where she won a Cancellation of Removal case at the Philadelphia Immigration Court and filed appeals before the Third and Fifth Circuits and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Becca also worked at three boutique immigration firms in Philadelphia during law school—as a secretary, paralegal, then law clerk—and as a clerk at the York Immigration Court through the Department of Justice Summer Legal Intern Program.
